Default Time to overcome this: PS leaks only after being driven

Ever since I obtained my 92 SC400, it has leaked PS fluid. (an SC attitude/SC doctrine ) It only leaks for 20 hours or so after being driven. Otherwise, bone dry underneath. The leak is coming from way up top, like the reservoir, or a loose hose clamp. I tightened all of the clamps and checked everything I can think of. Seriously, this SC goes through more PS fluid than oil. (maybe...)

Any thoughts shed on this is appreciated!

High pressure hose is common problem. Clean everything off with a pressure washer and start searching. That's the only way to find it, someone on a computer a million miles away can't find it for you

Haven't pressure washed it (as I heard the SC'S do not respond well to them) but I have detailed the engine bay and the leak still rarely forms. Might have to remove the hoses and inspect. Thnx for the suggestion...

maybe use a better clamp on the pressure line. return line shouldn't be the issue, def check the cap for cracks.

You can try a UV dye as well. I had a pressure hose leak on one car and a pump leak on the other

Checked the cap, all good. Will get out there to check the high pressure hoses again.

The PS pump failed on one of mine too, the rebuild kits are around $30 online! If it is a HP hose I have an extra if interested!

Just replace the hoses from the reservoir to pump and cap off the 2 hoses that go to the intake system then check for leaks

I would replace the pump and hoses at the same time.

I have a 92 sc300 and I replaced the pump and hoses one at a time and they all leaked within 6 months of replacing each item. The cars are 20 yrs old.

Brake cleaner works well for grime and fluid. I'm not familiar with the SC400 pump. On the JZ engines the nipple on the pump(thing the hose connects to), from the reservoir has an O-ring that goes bad. I got a new one from lowes for $1.
