Default Aftermarket Parts and HP

Guys,

My 1999 SC300 is in need of some primping, but I am having trouble finding a site with stuff newer than 97? Mainly looking for different tailights and headlights for the time being.

Other than that, If you had a stock engine, what would be the first thing you'd do to start powering it up?

Thanks

There really isn't any upgrades you have the latest body style so if you looking for some pimping then only option is to go with something a little older like 95 tail lights... And a some new mint headlight or maybe the eBay lens mod... Use the search button that's will be a good start and as for under the hood it all depends on your how fast you want you car to be?

first off, welcome.

I'll take a stab at your question, and offer you my opinion, as that's what all the responses will be. The only right decision, is yours.
You should think about what your ultimate goal is for your car.
By that, what I mean is you don't want to just go out and buy a new exhaust that may net you 5-10hp, but then a year later decide you want to go turbo and that exhaust you paid $1000+ for is not good enough for a turbo setup. Then you've wasted money and have to make that purchase again.
So, think about your ultimate goal and start with the small stuff maybe.

There really isn't much you can do as far as simple bolt ons. And you're vvti, so that's another obstacle, at least one that I'm not too familiar with on upgrading.
A good exhaust. Future proof
Intake for your car in its current state is a waste of money, IMO. Won't net you crap for power and it more than likely won't work for a future turbo setup.
Suspension. Stiffer car is a quicker car
NA-T

However, if you're gonna keep the car.....
You're motor is vvti, best bet IMO is to swap your motor to the GTE and do it right the first time. That's just my opinion though.

I think it's important to figure out what ur goals are like the previous post said. Then start with the small stuff first. For example, I have a sc4 and since there are practically no engine mods besides a M90 supercharger. My goal is to complete an updated sport look. Something like this is what my goal is.
So my advice to you is to find out exactly what u want, and then plan accordingly. Use the search button to help u in this process
