Exclamation vortech help

hey guys i have an opportunity to buy a vortech supercharger does it have to be clockwise or counterclockwise to use the fish bracket setup and how can i tell ???????? pleeaaase help !!

it a v2 dont know the trim carb number d-213-17 model num v2

I googled it and some sites mentioned clockwise and counter clockwise rotation. I saw LOADS of hits that will make more sense to you then me as I don't have one .

From what I read, SC400TT and Steve Chumo are the dudes. Mickesanda is in the process and has a pretty big thread HERE. There are likely others.
Take a peek at those threads to see who knows whats up and PM them.

Aren't you the guy that posted pics of shop to show credibility? You should be able to look at the bracket and see how it would attach the unit to the engine, then based off that and the engines rotation decide if that unit works for you. Right?

the serpintine belt turns clock wise, so you need a clock wise sc.

seems simple enough to see which way the pulleys that are currently on the motor are spinning.

My Powerdyne is reverse rotation. Afaik most of these centrifugal units are made to be mounted with the pulley facing the front of the car, so you need a reverse rotation unit for the fish bracket setup.

so it turns out using the fish bracket i need a counter clockwise supercharger i checked this guys vortech v2 out looked unused mint condition no play but. . .. . it clockwise and wasted both our time man im soooooo bummed out it was so worth 800$$
