Default Is this good enough for fuel management?

If i go NA-T on my 97 SC300, HP goals are 450-550hp i was wondering if this is all I would need for fuel management besides bigger injectors and fuel pump. If you guys could let me know what I need and don't need on this list or what's a better option that'd be a huge help!! thanks!

1. AEM 30-6101 Series 2 for 93-97 Toyota Supra Non-Turbo
2. AEM 3.5 Bar Map Sensor Kit, Stainless Body
3. AEM UEGO Gauge-Type Wideband
4. AEM Air Temp Sensor Kit for Standalone ECUs
5. AEM Tru-Boost Gauge Type Boost Controller (would this really be needed or just a regular boost guage?)

Kick *** list! The tru-boost would be necessary if you want to control boost all fancy like. Another option would be to get the UEGO inline serial controller, plug that into the ems, then buy the AEM serial gauge. You can then set it up to display AFR on the perimeter and Boost on the digital display, as well as having the ability to display additional inputs by cycling a button. Cool stuff like being able to see accuarate temps and other pressures like fuel/oil/nitrous. Keep it all in one gauge, which I personally like because I dislike clutter. And you can pick up any 3 port MAC valve and have the aem control boost. Buying the true boost would be kind of a waste since the ems can do the jobin the first place. Good luck, setup sounds promising.

Thank for the response! yeah I hate cluster as well and would like little *** guages as possible LOL. I mean if i can get an all in one reast boost/afr and all that, it would be great. But i'm pretty new to the forced induction and guages and what's needed for better tuning so i'm hoping everyone who's got experience on this can chime in.

You could do anything with that setup.

With that said, looking for 450-500 whp you might want to look into the OEM GTE ECU mod:

As well as the Datalogger thread in my sig.

Good luck!

Haha^^^ Spoolxevo

How competent are you with AEM? Do you have a tuner?

Have you considered the aristo TT ecu mod? Factory OEM driveability plus you can add a piggy back later to offset larger injectors. Many supra's have made 500+ whp on the stock TT ecu with a piggy back

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...t-ecu-mod.html

560whp on stock TT ecu and stock 550cc injectors:

Just another suggestion other than jumping straight into a EMS.

LOL, just caught it!

What turbos are we looking at for this 450-500whp?

Lots of good choices out there.

Well as far as pieceing a turbo kit i'm still working on that one otherwise i was just planning to go with the BoostLogic NA-T kit. I believe it comes with a t61, not sure if that will be pushing the t61 or just perfect.

As far as tuner, i'm not sure if you were talking to me or spool, HIPSI but im probably going to take it to Shane at DB Performance in Rogers, MN. He's probably the most well known tuner in MN. Brent Rau takes his dsm to shane all the time if that means anything. lol
