Default Stripped nut on fan clutch need some ideas.

Trying to do timing belt job on 1999 sc 300 was going smooth until I rounded off a nut on the fan clutch. How to get it off? tried some cheap turbo sockets from harbor freight and that didn't work. Need a good idea at this point lol.

You probably have no room, but one time I had a rounded over lug nut. Got a coal chisel, penetrating oil, and a hammer, and whacked away. Make a groove and it's straight forward from there.

Ya, similar to the above post. without going out and looking at my car i don't know exactly how much room you have, i would try to grind some flats on it and grab them with a wrench, or grind a deep groove and get a punch or chisel in it and hit it with a hammer to break it lose. Good luck!
