Default My new custom exhaust SC300

After seeing the picture perfect welds, I decided to contact a local vendor Filthy Habits Fabrication and see what his thoughts were on creating an exhaust for my SC300.

Through a few PMs, we arranged a time for him to look at the car and come up with a few ideas. He had asked me what my goals were for the car, what sort of sound I wanted and what aftermarket exhausts I liked, so that he could do some research on routing and sound quality.

I told him that I wanted him to have "free reign" on the project and really make it unique and showcase his exceptional talents.

We agreed on a price (which was very reasonable compared to aftermarket cookie cutter systems) and I dropped the car off to have the work done.

They communicated very well with me as to how the project was coming along and the work was finished as promised in time for a bigger local meet.

It sounds incredible....I will post vids later

Nicely done... I'm not a big fan of mufflers that don't look OEM, but those look really good. And they did a great job tucking the exhaust tips into the rear bumper cut-outs.

Congrats!

Really digging the way that came out! Is the car still NA? I like how the mufflers sit back slightly and the exhaust is tucked up nicely.

Makes the stance from a lower view look absolutely awesome! I'm not really a fan of custom exhaust, but this does look pretty cool. I saw the spare tire molding underneath and thought "that's one dang bare tire!"

I wish my welds looked like that

I MIG'd up my own 304 stainless mandrel bent exhaust last year and after spending over $600 on just parts, tubing and hardware alone in stainless, I almost wish I had gone to someone else that can weld like that. My welds look absolutely horrible but at least they penetrated well and don't leak. I'm still amazed at how people can make it look that easy.
