is clutch pedal spring supposed to be super stiff?
Hey Guys,
I am just installing my clutch pedal assembly from DM and the spring is super stiff. it makes getting the clutch bolt into the clutch pedal frame very difficult. I had to use a clamp to pry the pedal against the spring and line up the through bolt. Just want to make sure I am not doing something wrong... Now it is assembled and it takes a good bit of hand force to snap the pedal forward/backward, which I believe is normal but I want to confirm.
thanks for input,
Marko
here it is all assembled:

well i got the assembly installed in the car.. what a pain in the ***. the bracket doesn't line up very easily and has to be squished up against the insulation to get the master cylinder bolts to come through. the pedal is probably fine the way it is, mounted in the car it feels reasonable from the spring stiffness perspective.
