And do I need to weld it off? I am deleting the pcv system and adding a catch can so holes are being welded up now but I am unsure what exactly this does?

Air passage. I welded my off on my intake manifold side. I believe it's for your iacv. I went with a ffim and q45 tb so I just welded it shut or you could cap it if you like.

He's vvti which means drive by wire on usdm ge, which you can actually see in the pic. They don't have IACV. Pretty sure this is part of the evap system. Notice how it appears to be integrated into the fuel rail. I had an IS wagon at one time and remember seeing that crap and the differences between the sc, but didn't pay much attention since I'm so gay for 1jz all I could think of is getting that **** outta there. Like all of it haha.
