Default 6766/1jz what size oil feed?

What size oil feed are you guys running on a 6766? I'm running it on a 1jz if that matters. I've heard mixed reviews between -3 and -4.

Also what size oil return? -10?

Thanks.

Personally I would email precision and ask them specifically what to use if this turbo is new and under warranty. Then save it, so if you have a failure you can have a record of utilizing their recommendations. There have been issues with this in the past and precision can be some **** about stuff

Also, what really makes a difference is the cartridge. Is it ball bearing or journal?

Industry standard is -4 for journal, -3 for ball bearing. You're about to have a lot of people telling you restrictor this restrictor that with -4, like in a lot of the holset threads around where the people don't really have first hand experience. This place is bad about that. Another reason I suggest contacting the manufacturer aside from covering your ***.

It's a journal bearing, and yes brand new.

You speak the truth man! I'll be sure to give them a call, but I was just making this thread to see what people were running with this turbo. Thanks for your input!

I ran a -4an for feed and -10an return on my 6765 billet.

You can run -12an return if you want , shouldn't run anything less than -10an for return.
