Default Who offers the best tune up kit for the 1uz???

Hey guys,

sorry if this is one of those threads, but the search function literally brings up nothing.

Its time for a tune up and im wondering where you uys are buying your tune up kit? Wires, plugs etc...

My mechanic warned me to stay away from cheap aftermarket kits, the dealer seems to be overpriced as usual, just looking for some good quality parts at a somewhat reasonable price.

I seen a few on e bay but I never buy from there, I would like to give my car a proper tune up with quality parts.

Thanks guys.

Just buy everything individually. You can get quality parts on ebay too.

For good prices Rockauto is good. OEM Lexus from a dealership sometimes surprise you with how inexpensive they are.

When you order on rockauto the price includes duty fees when it's shipped to Canada. So there are no surprises when you receive the package. It's the cheapest place I have found lexus parts (for canadians).

If your stock any type of plug wire is fine. I usually use NGK spark plugs, and auto parts store can supply all necessary belts and replacement parts. OEM vs aftermarket is not really a big issue if you're stock.

LOL! Wow that is the dealer just screwing you over!

On Rockauto it's only $58 for original Denso wires!

Yes Denso is the OEM part.

Order the following

Denso Spark plug wires
Bosch distributor caps
Bosch distributor rotors
Spark plug(choose one that best suits your needs)

I wish I had bought the Denso wires because the NGKs I bought off eBay were not proper length and required some modification.
