Default vvt-i ecu chaser - soarer

i've been in talks with these guys about this ecu, i know that a chaser ecu wont work but i dont know whats the differnce, well they tell me this will work on my soarer will it?

Chaser ecu will work fine. You'll probably have to do the 12v mod (bypass the fuel pump ecu) though. I've used both genuine vvti soarer ecu and jzx100 ecu in my car with zero changes. Will be the same using jzx90 ecu in place of jzz30

They're the same. They just have different part numbers because they came in different chassis. The pinouts are identical.

ok thanks guys i just wanted to be sure my mechanic is dead set on finding an exact jzz30 ecu
