Default 98 sc400 2jzgte swap? manual transmission

Would you guys keep and do a 2jzgte swap in a 98 sc400? Or would getting a pre 98 model be a lot easier?

1998-2000 SC400's are very special and rare due to their factory 290hp VVT-i engines. Don't swap one of those. They are sought after. R154 manual transmission swap, maybe but not a JZ swap.

It will be easier all around to swap any SC300 92-97 to a 2JZ-GTE non-VVT-i but a 98-00 SC300 will be easier to swap to a 2JZ-GTE VVT-i. Same goes for 1JZ non-VVT-i and 1JZ VVT-i.

^^^^^^ what he said......... GE vvti ecu is compatible with the 2jzgte vvti ecu, making wiring a bit less complicated. And yes it is rare to see a clean sc4 around.... BUT ITS ALL UP TO THE BUILDER! @tuninghaus p'm if you have a question regarding this swap.
