Default 1jz no start no fuel

hi guys its been all winter and its finally nice enough out to finish my swap, when i try and start my 93 sc300 with a 1jz w58 tranny, original 5spd i get good spark all coils are fine, and i get a good strong turn over, i can hear my fuel pump running thanks to the 12v mod, but i get no fuel smell at all, and when i try and use starter fluid to get it going it will spit flames out the intake as if its sparking when the intake valves are open? has anyone had a problem like this? my main concern is the no fuel smell because i think my cam position sensors plugs are switched thats whats causing the strange spark
any help would be appreciated its been a long road and id really love to finally finish this swap

Can they be switched? Are your injectors working?

It's almost impossible to get the cam position sensors backwards. The plugs come out of the harness literally, right infront of each sensor....

Who did your harness conversion?

ya i looked at mine you really cant.

did you check for spark by pulling the coil pack and plug and grounding it and actually seeing the spark? when i was getting my motor going i thought i was getting spark and fuel because i put a test light on them and it was turning on, but when i pulled them and checked i had nothing, there was power to it but no signal coming from the crank angle sensor which i believe is what sends the signal to your coil packs and to your fuel injectors. i had the same problem not smelling fuel because the fuel would go in the fuel rail and right back out to the tank since the injectors were not firing. i had a broken wire to my crank angle sensor i would check there

i had a guy in the city who said he works with MNS performance do my harness conversion but since it seems to be sparking at a strange time i thought it might be that he wired the cam sensors backwards since he had to do alot of work to my harness since the one on the 1jz was absolutely torn to shreds, he moddified my 2jzna 5spd harness to run with a 2jzgte ecu and run 1jz batch injection, so there is a good chance he screw up somewhere, with all the issues iv been thinking of getting a new harness and buying a extension harness and be done with it and yes im getting strong spark just no fuel at all, im now gonna check the crank angle sensor, if that went bad is it much of a hassle to replace, due to the trouble iv been having and my crazy work schedule iv been having trouble working on the car
