Valve stem remover
Is this tool going to work to remove the keeper so I can change the valve stems? Tools seems like unfamiliar, except for the pliers.

I used one of these tools to replace the valve seals on my 1jz.

There is a magnet inside to catch the retainers.
You might have to grind the outside of the tool a bit to match the diameter of the bucket so the tool does not scape the head. I think the tool comes in two different diameters, so check before you buy.
I also used thick nylon rope, shoved into the cylinder so the valves do not drop into the block. VERY important.
You should also cover all the oil drain passages so you don't accidently drop a retainer. I did... it fell all the way down to the oil pan! Luckily I was able to fish it out with a long magnet..
