I just changed the high pressure hose on my 1999 Sc400, there are two lines running from the solenoid highlighted in the picture to two different places. I am trying figure which hose connects where on the solenoid. I removed mine before marking which goes to which nipple on the solenoid. So there is a long hose that goes all the way back to the firewall and there is a short one that connects just above the power steering pump..can any one help me out with this...especially people that have changed out this hose before.
See the section highlighted in red on the image...
I don't believe it matters for that vacuum but I'll look at mine when I get home tonight.
^^ this, since the part itself has no visible markings one way or the other won't make a difference which one of the two nipples the vacuum hoses fit on to.
The end with the vent nipples goes to the PS pump, and the other end without any goes to the rack and pinion. Is that what you're asking?
Thanks for the response, that part i already know and have connected, the remainder is to connect the vacuum lines to the solenoid.

Thanks for the response, i will see how it works out, I reconnected them in no particular order and have not noticed a difference. Just the systems seems to groan a bit when the wheel is turned all the way to either direction and held for a second or two. I did bleed the system, but it may need a bit more complete left to right swings of the steering wheel to completely rid the system of the little groans left.
