Default What 1JZ do I have???

Can anyone tell which 1JZ motor I have? The old owner said from a Supra and another person said from a Soarer. It has an R154 and a Auto ECU.

I also ordered IS300 Fans to mount on the MK4 radiator. Do ya'll think they're going to fit with the IC piping?

Likely Soarer from the few clues I can see here alone. Grab a picture of the ECU harness.

Kind of funny. I haven't even seen the car. I've been stationed in Nebraska and had my brother buy off one of my buddies back home.

it's likely from a soarer as stated above, or a chaser with a switched oil pan. Best way to tell is to look at the ECU and the harness under the glovebox.

To me it looks like a Supra, or Chaser judging by the TPS being located on the TB. My Soarer 1JZ doesn't have it there.

You can also tell by the IAT sensor. JZA70s use the old round sensor plug, and the Soarer/Chasers use one like an Aristo

Your's is on the tb too. Your engines donor just didn't have trac control.

Engine is definitely not from a chaser/cresta/mark II. You can tell by the direction of the turbo outlet pipe.
