Oil on spark plugs
When I went to change my spark plugs on my 97 sc300 there was oil on the number 4,5, and 6 plugs. Does this mean that I need to replace the valve cover gasket? Why would it only be on those 3 cylinders? The others were completely dry.

Yes, I think you mainly need the sparkplug seals, the things that seal the sparkplug valley from the valve cover, but also do the valve cover gasket while you have it open.
The ones you have are most likely old and are rotting, causing it to leak.
Finding oil in the valley and sparkplugs is kinda common on the 2js.
