Today I took my 92 SC300 to get it smogged and it failed badly. I need some help on what to fix. The smog technician said to check up on the o2 sensors which I replace like 3 years ago(??) or cat converter / egr valve... my other mechanic friend told me egr valve is working fine...

what are some other things that i can do to help lower the emissions to pass? Here's a pic of the results. Please let me know what I can do. Thank you in advance.

if yr cat and o2 sensors are cool then i would check timing, clean maf.

Move to a state that doesnt do smog testing?

did you drive the car around to warm up the cats?

I have heard running alcohol mixture with your gas right before going in works, might want to look that up..

Holy crap, thats an epic fail. I would definately check the cats and o2 sensors.

That failed worse than my car with no cats...

thanks guys... i happened to have extra o2 sensors laying around... will change them first...
