Exclamation soarer r154 leak

i picked up a soarer r154 and installed it a couple weeks ago. i notice after i drove it home from work (15 miles) after installing i noticed that the retainer gasket ( seal that goes between shifter housing and trans case) was leaking. is there anywhere i can get a new seal? i dont want to drive it untill i get this fixed. any advise is good.

Are you 100% sure that's where its leaking? I thought mine was leaking from that big gasket too, but it ended up being a cracked casing :'(

yes the only difference is where your lower tripod mounts to the casing you can still use the supra r154 gaskets and seals even the shifter bushing inside is the same.

Ok. What other seals should I change on the shifter while I have it off?

so i removed my tranny and went to change out the seals and they are not the same. the soarer retainer gasket is about a half of an inch longer. so i just cleaned off the seal and put some grey rtv on both side and has been good for a week now.
