Which 2JZ do you want? Everybody wants the 2JZ-GTE VVTi motor from the Supra RS, so I'm assuming that. Those aren't cheap at all though, everybody goes with a 1JZ since its enough and its much cheaper.

I'm sure Texas has junkyards. For damn sure you guys have aircraft graveyards, I want to go to one! Just go to a junk yard and pull one, hopefully finding a good one. Tear it down, new seals and crap, probably even upgrade a few parts for an NA-T

I live in houston as well. If you are looking for a 2jzge motor they are plenty and can make some serious power as well. It all depends on your budget and what you are trying to do. PM me if you have question. I don't mind helping.

2jzgte for 400 bucks. I would stay away from that unless its just the block. a 2jzgte head bare goes for like 500 at least. There a guy on craiglist selling at 2jzgte swap for 2200. You can always make a trip to dallas and get a complete swap from them if you really want to go 2jzgte. I say if you are on a budget go 2jzge with a 5 speed if you want stick or a auto and NA-T it later.
