Quick question for 97 Tach fix with GTE swap
I am finally going to get my lazy *** up and fix the tach after doing GTE swap.
Just wanted to confirm, for 97 gauge cluster I simply jump r2 resistor instead of R109 resistor(since 97's don't have them), am I correct?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You either jump R73 or R109, you cluster should only have 1 of them. for me it was R73 on a 95 cluster.

pulling the cluster out without loosing screws and getting the dash harness off of it is the hardest part.
It takes about 5 minutes after that or even less if you heat up the soldering iron while taking the cluster out.
If you don't have either of those 2 and the 97 is special post up a picture of both sides of the cluster.
