Four-Wheel Steering, and TEMS?
I've read that the V8 Soarers came with Four-Wheel Steering, and Im wondering:
1. Does anyone have one?
2. Has anyone ever managed to swap that system into their SC300?
If so, how difficult is it, and whats the cost?
I really want four-wheel steering in my SC, it's something I'm quite fond of.
Lastly, I know Nissan calls it "HICAS", is there a proper term for it by Lexus?
Secondly, TEMS ...
From what I understand, it's basically an OEM EDFC, right?
How does it work?
I have TEIN Coilovers, so should I just get the EDFC?
I suppose I should, but much like four-wheel steering, I think its cool to have OEM specialties like that, just as a charm that furthers it's intrinsic value as a Lexus.

I know the 1st Generation Aristo had AWS too. Did a whole bunch of searching, and every performance outlet I was looking at was selling 2 steel rods that people would install to bolt the AWS mechanism in place to disable it. There must be some strange performance drawbacks to the AWS setup, although i don't know what they would be. I think it would be cool to have it too. Secondly, i think those V8 Soarers had factory air suspension, which probably means totally different suspension design. I bet if you swapped over the rear suspension knuckles/hub assembly you could make it happen. I think the JDM Soarer and SC are so close to the same car, and share so many parts, it's completely possible.

I read the GS guys talkin', and they said they liked it, 'cus while it's subtle during normal driving, sharp turns and U-turns are outstanding. They said the handling's great.
Here's a preview of the wheels turning (and more, but whatever ...).

you are talking about features that are on a very rare model of the "Active Soarer".
the tems system is similar to the one found on mk3 supra's but uses hydraulic fluid shocks that can be adjusted with a button. I think they also level the height during extreme cornering which is why the active soarer was so awesome.
the all wheel steering isn't that great of a feature, sometimes it helps, sometimes it makes you crash.
a good amount of older 240sx's have the active rear steering, and that just means you have to spend extra $$ to buy the part that disables it. the active soarer one may be better but not alot of data on that.
those systems would be really difficult to install into an SC without the entire donor car to take the parts from.
Seeing as I have never seen a donor active soarer car, I will assume the cost would be alot.
there are various ecu's and sensors on each wheel that all make the whole thing work, and even then those hydraulic shocks need to be rebuilt often if you were to even get it working.
these are what the shocks look like
