Depends on how many miles you have on your car but,if your over 100K I would start there and get the down and upstream o2's replaced.That was my issue at 138K and it sounds like the same symptoms your going through now.

the downstream wire broke off i have obx headers and the O2 was stretched to maximum length and it broke off so due to that failing i believe my upstream is now gone hence my initial problem.

Ah,ok well there you go just get another o2 or take that one off and solder on some extra wire to extend it.

so i fixed both oxygen sensors it cleared the code but still have a misfire theres alot of oil around the distributor on the bottom of the cap the o ring is gone. is it worth replacing seal or distributor?

I'm sure distributor is fine,just get the o-ring for it at ******************.com.How many miles do you have on it?I'd check your spark plugs again.Like take them out to make sure there isn't any oil on it.I had that misfire issue when I had a valve cover gasket leak along with the distributor o-ring and front cam shaft seal and my plugs had oil on them.

ill check them as a last result i have a spare ecu ill try that first.. those are know for my symptoms and engine has 100k but car has 222k
