TTC and WEB cams are one in the same as far as the product you receive. I ordered through TTC and was actually put in contact with WEB cams directly for placing my order. However placing the order through TTC did seem to speed the process up vs just talking with WEB.

Just got done talking with Kevin. Once he gets my cams, he will inspect them and spec them out, then get back to me with his thoughts on grind options. He mentioned grinds are customizable, and no extra charge.

I'll post updates and pics whenever I hear more. It'll likely be mid January before I get them back due to the holidays.

Right now looking at around $250 for the pair + cores + shipping. Beats the hell out of $850 + cores + shipping.

BTW, mind explaining what your setup is going to be? GTE Kelford 280's in the GE head, so I assume you're modifying the head to use different cam/crank sensors?

Either Hall effect sensor or Modified the GE head and weld a bung on the head.

More than likely weld the bung on the head.

Nice, what do you plan to rev to?

I just purchased a set of the cheapo BC springs for $100 (springs only, re-use stock retainers) as I only plan to rev to 8k, and these cams won't be too extreme as far as lift ramp goes.

With the stock cams and stock valve train my rev limiter is set at 7700 rpm and , i never hit 7700 rpm lol because my gear ratio is so long and i don't have room to stretch my legs.

Maybe 8k or 8200 since i am adding some cams now but i am not even sure i will ever hit that.

I contacted Kevin over there a couple days ago, he replied within minutes. I was quite impressed.

However it has been a couple days now and he hasn't replied to my follow up emails regarding grind options, and shipping info for me to send the cams to.

Cost effective is def important... Thanks for clearing that up!

Damn thats a great deal... Im curious what the turn around is and how much the core charge is... Either way beats the alternative.

This thread will help alot of people going forward... Sticky this to clear up alot of questions!

They told me because of the holidays, they probably won't get to them until around Jan 6, and then then will be done about a week later. So not too bad of a turn-around in my opinion.

You have to send in your cores for them to grind, not really a core charge per-say. I doubt they just have cores of these cams laying around.
