Yes they are regrinds, thus they have to remove material from the base circle, which results in needing lash pads to account for that.

As for install, I had a shop install them. Performance, I haven't gotten power pulls done yet with the new setup so all I can comment on would be partial throttle and idle. Idle has a very slight lope now but not bad. Throttle response still seems decent. So far I'm happy with them.

Here are the measurements Schneider said my stock cams came in at.

Part Number: stock
Grind Number: 2JZ-GE
Intake Duration (gross): 240
Exhaust Duration (gross): 248
Intake Duration (.050?): 197
Exhaust Duration (.050?): 203
Intake Valve Lift*: 8.5mm
Exhaust Valve Lift*: 8.7mm
Lobe Separation: 112
Intake Valve Lash: .012"
Exhaust Valve Lash: .014"
RPM Range:
1000-5000

I then had them do his standard 268 regrind on them with the following spec.

Part Number: custom
Grind Number: 268F
Intake Duration (gross): 268
Exhaust Duration (gross): 268
Intake Duration (.050?): 226
Exhaust Duration (.050?): 226
Intake Valve Lift*: 9mm
Exhaust Valve Lift*: 9mm
Lobe Separation: 114
Intake Valve Lash: .012"
Exhaust Valve Lash: .014"

Sorry to bump this oldish thread..but how are these working out for you?

Also, what head gasket/head/bottom end setup are you using? I am curious because I will end up ~ 9.8ish:1 compression and am wondering what sort of lift I am safe in using..I think the 9mm lift like you have would be fine, but I am curious what your setup is for comparison..

I'm curious as well how these are working. Any update on driveability, idle, power increase or tq loss?
