Default Help ID Cut Wire

I was looking under the hood of my SC3 and noticed the plastic wire covering going of the passenger wheel well cracked. I took a look, able to pop it up and noticed a PINK / BLACK STRIPE wire cut. Anyone knows what it is for?

The only things I can find is some mod for automatics to shift differently or whatever. My SC is a 5 speed so I don't think it would pertain to that.

But I wonder... If someone did a manual trans swap completely, including the cluster, as if all factory... is there an ID plate on the car or something to tell if the car came as an automatic or stick from factory? I doubt if it was a swap, unless they did a damn good job.

I know that people cut a "pink wire" on a 1jz in order to eliminate speed cut. But I'm assuming your car is still 2jz-ge?

I just gutted my chassis harness and I know I pulled that wire. Could be multiple things, ABS, trac control, sensor by the hood latch, or air bags. Two of those would easily be detectable. If u obviously don't have abs or trac control.
