Default Radiator light

Hi--
Recently, my radiator light has started coming on after my car has warmed up. Can anybody suggest what it is? I had my radiator fluid check, and it was still clean, and had my water pump replaced 20-30k miles ago, when I had a tune-up. Other than that, the temperature doesn't go up any, but the light is blaring at me.
Thanks!

I'm also having problems w/ my radiator light. It's been going on as long as i can remember. It has this naste habit of jus lighting up and then after a couple of seconds jus turning itself off again. Hasn't done it in awhile but within the last couple of weeks it been doing it again but now the conditions are a little different. i'll be driving and then come to a stop and the light will light up i'll take my foot off the brake and roll 2 inches and the light will shut itself off... how weird is that?? Does anyone know what this is suppose to mean?? Sorry i cant be more descriptive but that's that only way i can describe it.

I am having the same problem. When i turn on my car it lights up for a few seconds then turns off. Sometimes when i drive it on the freeway it comes on for a few seconds again then turns off. My temp gauge is normal level. Does anyone know what it could be? Is it a electrical malfuntion?

I have the same thing hapened to me...came to find out I have a hairline crack in the coolant reservoit and radiator fluid leak there. I patched it w/ jb weld, but it doesn't solve the problem ...
so i just have an extra bottle of coolant and fill up when needed. Now I can't take it outta town until I have enuff money to buy a new one...Its 200.00 at the stealership.

Ok, here is a simple fix. The sensor is probably bad and that is why it is going off. This explains the intermittent on-off. When I had my radiator replaced about a year ago, the sensor started acting up. The radiator was brand new. i just unhooked the sensor. Keep an eye on your temp gauge and you should be fine!
