BTW This thread is friggen awesome sauce.

Even if this doesn't work on Windows CE for the Pioneer radio's it would be cool to run this full time via a car PC.
Well that is definitely encouragement to get on it! I still have not made the cable... been sick/busy.

Any electronics store will have it.

Subscribed!!! It amazes me that the Russians made this possible for toyota owners, They did it for the Mitsubishi ecus back in the day of dataloggers & S-AFC for the DSM/Galant VR4's.. Amazing, Great job on who ever created the software..

Funny that 12 years later dataloggers don't even come up when people mod these things. It should be the first!

"Rocketman.ru" was part of the development team.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure you can wire directly to a usb cable, since the converters are also emulators.

It might be possible but I am having success with a converter.

Considering MINE's was able to remap the stock ECU for the 1JZ, 2JZ and 1UZ. I think this opens up a new door to modifying the stock ECU. I know this is just a data logger, but there is at least a way to interface with the ECU now. The next step is for some computer guru to figure out how to make changes to the stock ECU and save them on the ECU. If anyone know's someone who is techsavvy let's make this happen! I'd imagine if everyone pitched in $5-10 we can fund the development of this.

Maybe we could contact the developer of this program?

Speaking of which: http://planetsoarer.com/ecu/ecu.htm A modified stock ECU by someone other than Mine's.

I agree!
It should be very possible.
coming form the Honda world, people chipped and flashed stock ECU's all the time and very cheap and easily. I don't see why it would be any different for ours.

Someone is going to have to reverse engineer the code and make definitions for all the parameters.

If MINE's or the like won't give that up, it could be a crazy amount of time to break the ECU down.

Other then that, I'm glad you guys took this to another level. I also did my own 28 pin EPROM chipping with Mitsubishi 4g63.
