Default How should I proceed?

I had a picture for this but can't get it to post... I started to pull my head off today to check for what I have been told is a blown headgasket. After removing my cams it was obvious that this is going t be an expensive fix. I have a severe gouge in the front most cam bearing of the drivers side portion of the head. Basically I dont know how I should proceed with the situation, and would really appreciate the input from my peers on CL. I will try to post a pic if i can figure out how to using preview on my mac

if the engine has a blown head gasket and gouged cam bearings, i would be extremely worried about the condition of the rest of the engine. Lack of lubrication, overheat damage, and possibly more. Cheapest route: find another engine because from what little you have posted about your car it sounds like it's junk.

to post pics, you need upload them to a website (i use photobucket) and have the hosted picture link posted here after you've uploaded them.

Try uploading the photo(s) by the app on your smart phone or by the direct website photobucket. Then copy the IMG link to the website under the post reply along with your message. Should be work...

Hate to hear about your blown headgasket, might be cheaper to just replace the motor..
