Default How do I route these heater hoses (1jzgte) ?

I am not 100% sure how to route these hoses (the 2 pictured with the rubber hose) I assume the one from the head goes to the heat control valve?
Also are the 1jzgte guys on a single using the 1j coolant pipe that wraps around the block or using a 2j one?

What heater hose would best route from the head to the heat valve or should I just go to advance and eyeball some?

On to the pic..

the hose coming off the head goes to the heater core, as well as the one coming off the pipe on the right. I would try to find a 180deg bend to put on the hose coming off the head then a coupler going to a straight piece of hose to the heater core. I think oreilly's has a bin of plastic coolant pieces with different bends behind the counter if you ask for it.

edit: here is what i used for the 180deg bend, then all you would need is a a coupler and a straight piece of hose http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...?keyword=19607

as far as the metal coolant pipe goes it kind of depends on if/how you want to cool your oil. If you want to keep the stock oil cooling setup you have to keep the GTE pipe that wraps around the head. You would have to block off the coolant ports that went to the factory turbos though.

If you wanted to get rid of the oil cooler or replace it with an aftermarket setup then find yourself a 2jzGE pipe and it cleans up the intake side and behind the head quite a bit and you only have to block off one small port

Thank you for the reply!
So I assume the one from the head is the supply and the one on the right is a return?

here is a pic of how it should be:
the hose from the head should go to the right side port of the heater control valve(right side looking at picture)
the hose coming off the pipe should run to the right port of the heater core
the bottom port of the heater conrol valve goes to the other heater core port

Ok got it, From looking at your sig I am doing about the same as you 1jz with aristo trans and ecu on a borg s366and also I am doing this in an sc400 so looking at the pic reminded me that I am going to have to do something with the charcoal canister as the 400 is in the pass side wheel well and from the looks of it the 3oo is in the pass side of the engine compartment.

Hmm now I have to figure that mess out as well haha

i got rid of all that crap. on the hardline that vents the fuel tank that runs across the firewall I have a rubber hose running down to a check valve that sits in the grommet where the charcoal canister used to sit. So the tanks excess pressure gets vented, the check valve keeps anything from going into the line, and since the check valve sits in the grommet and vents into the wheel well i dont smell any fumes

No problem^^ Do you have a n/a sc300? I doubt you would have to pull the engine to replace it, maybe lower the front sub frame a bit and get it out that way but pulling it seems extreme.
