Greddy 3bar map sensor without EMU?
Hello guys,
got a question to you.
I´m running a Toyota Soarer with the 1JZ engine in it.
My OEM map sensor is not workin properly so i need a replacement.
Here is my question:
Can i run the Greddy 3 bar map sensor on my 1JZ now?
Without the Emanage...
Because i don´t want to buy the stock one, and then the Greddy one in winter as i will swap to a single turbo setup.
Thanks for your help.
bye
Alex

@megamax
I was running an APEXi SAFC 2 and 440cc injectors with a HKS EVC 5.
My friend Kevin looked on the voltage on te SAFC when i was running WOT, and he told me that my voltage was "going crazy"... up and down.
We were running 1,1bar of boost at first and the fuel cut was gone -great!
But then it was there, and then it was gone etc.....
I don´t know the exact voltage but i saw that it was going up and down.
1st WOT:
-1,1bar of boost -no fuel cut
2nd WOT:
-1,1bar of boost -fuel cut
3rd: WOT:
-1,1bar of boost -no fuel cut
etc.
This is only a example:
When i was on 1,1bar boost the voltage was like: 4,0v then 4,3v -> BAM fuel cut -> 3,9v -> 4,3v BAM fuel cut etc.
Sometimes the car was running fine, but when i was stepping on the gas for the second time -> fuel cut.
So i ripped the injectors out and sold the SAFC to a friend...
Another friend (Markus) was running the same setup on his Soarer and everything was fine.
He was running 1,2bar and 440cc injectors too.
We installed my map sensor to his car and his engine was running like crap.
He has random fuel cuts too.
So for me it´s the map sensor.

Can you tell me the type of engine7 year of the GM?
Maybe i can use this one if it´s cheaper than the Greddy unit.
Sorry for my bad english.
