Default sc400 95year diagnostic

Hello. I've got a problem with my car. I bought the diagnostic cable ELM327 OBD2 + toyota 22 pin. I installed all the software on my computer correctly and it doesnt work. Using program ScanTool. I know i can't do so much with this cable anyway i want to delate errors. I do all the things correctly, starting engine etc. Please help me with this.

95 is OBD1.

96+ is OBD2.

I'm not aware of any way to make OBD2 cables work on OBD1's since they are so fundamentally different. OBD1 never needs any special code readers. OBD1 code readers make life a little simpler but if you can count to 10 and own a paper clip, you can read OBD1 codes.

That's what i would do is read the codes. pull down the plastic cover for the diagnostic ports inside the driver side. Put a small wire or paper clip on the two locations. the bottom row far right and the other two over from it, same row. E1 and Te1. Good luck
