Default Oil in a blown SC

No, this isn't another "what oil is best thread" I need to know if anyone has used "Royal purple HPS full synthetic" (HPS: High Performance Street) 10w30 or 5w30 weight oil. I have since been through two engines. The original had 119k and then it threw a rod through the side of the block after switching. Second motor was imported from Japan, and you know their claim on J-spec motors 30-60k and I didn't get more than 500miles out of that one. First motor was using 20w50 RP HPS full synthetic and second motor I learned its essential to keep with the stock oil weight recommendations because the 2jz-ge doesn't have oil squirters and that one was running 10w30 RP HPS full synthetic after 100 miles.

I Need to know if anyone else has for 1: used this oil in their 2jz-ge and 2: like their car to perform. In other words I spend thousands of dollars on OE and performance name brand parts because I want it to perform. If you are like me and used this oil please chime in.

The engine has a 6month 6000mi warrantee. I will be dropping off the car at Akina motorsports to evaluate it. I do not want them to say its because I ran Royal Purple.

Thanks for your time.

"J-spec" or "JDM motors are used motors, and should be bought as a core longblock with extras, not as a bolt-in motor.
Regardless of how I feel about how crappy RP is, the brand oil isn't nearly as important as having enough oil in it.
RP is functional in it's job, and isn't going to trash a motor.

I personally use no synthetic oils of any sort just give me dinosaur oil and All is good.
But I run E-85 and do oil changes about every 800-1000 miles.

Food for thought, as most of the JDM swap stuff is usually at the very least 10 + yrs old and with no knowledge of the prior services, putting all your eggs in 1 basket and thinking that oil is the cure all for the misguided past of the original owner and expecting all to be good is well just plain naive.

The motor is new to you NOT new from TOYOTA!!!!!!

Stop buying and try building it so you truly know what you got.

PS. RP is the last oil I would ever use on any of my cars or boats.
