Default Drive Belt Tensioner question

First thanks for any help. I am changing the cap and rotor on the passenger side and the bottom bolt on the cap is a pain. From what I read on here I can just turn the belt tensioner counter-clockwise and just slip off the belt, that seems easy. My question is about putting the belt back on, do you just turn it clockwise and how will you know it is tight, should I mark something. Or just direct me to the instructions, thanks Mike
