Default 4" dp fitment

Im having issues getting my 4" dp/midpipe that i bought off a member on SF. Seems like i would have to take off the manifold put in the dp and then put the manifold and turbo on. Below i have pictures, do you guys think cutting the dp and making it a 2pc work without having to remove the manifold. It would be a pita to have to do this all the time.

If you can't snake it through from underneath just cut it and throw a v-band flange on it. It should fit quite easily if it was 2 pieces. However, I have a feeling you might be able to get it installed in one piece if you can get the car high enough.

Yes definitely cut it into two pieces, try and use a vband connection as it will be easier to bolt down. This will fix your issues. On the top pictures I would hack it at the 2nd weld bead left to right. Depending on the condition of that pipe you might be better off having a custom one made.

Exactly what those two above me said ! it will not work , till you cut it and put a V band between the two ( dp &Mp) it will always be a Pain to install and remove.

And you know the BWS366 doesn't come with 4" V band it's Marmon Flange that's on it , so you will either have the flange machine to a 3.5" V band or you will have to buy a marmon flange which is $70.

I would buy the marmon flange because it's cheaper and works great, by the time you do the V band mod , buy the V band and clamp you are looking at 150-200.
I had mine done and i can tell you it wasn't cheap, i am building another gte right now but i am going with the marmon flange and clamp .. it's cheaper.

It revs a lot smoother and is more responsive now. This was when i first started it which was a month ago. Open downpipe. Still gotta sand down the spark plug cover and paint it.

Question:
What is your guys take on a s366 with a 3.5" flange to 3" dp?
I'm not sure if the turbo actually needs that 3.5 or bigger down pipe to breath?
