Default '97 sc300 w58 swap emissions help, need ecu pinout

Hey guys, I have a 97 auto sc300 that we swapped to a 5spd a year ago.

I bought the 97 5pd ECU so I can pass emissions (throwing codes for shift solenoids) but the car wont crank or start due to the clutch interlock. However it does run on the auto ECU still but with the CEL

I fail emissions due to the Check engine light for the shift solenoids. Can someone please post the pinout to a 97 5spd ecu with the clutch interlock labeled so I can get it wired up.

Please help, it needs to be done by the end of May and I already got one extension

Thanks in advance

You should just be able to jumper a couple pins on the auto selector switch.

yeah, i have an original manual and you an just connect the wires and bypass the switch, so if you figure out where the clutch switch wires are, just connect them

Unfortunately my auto harness doesn't have the clutch wires to connect. Do you know what pins they are within the ecu?

He apparently hooked up all of the solenoids / shift valves up to his harness from the auto transmission. You gotta take off the oil pan of the transmission to get to all of them, and one is underneath the valve body. Be prepared to remove a lot of bolts... I hope you have power tools or a wrist full of endurance!

You said you had a manual ecu. It should not have CELs related to the tranny. Bypass the starter kill via the plug shown in that thread and the car should run with the manual ecu. Problem solved.

So is there any updates if this actually fixed his problem??

Cause I'm kind of in the same boat.....except here in MN we don't have emissions and i'm just wondering if it's worth it to get a manual ecu vs the auto ecu with a CEL, even though the car works fine.

Unfortunately, jumping the nss allows his starter to spin but the car won't start and run. I have no clue why, and don't know if op ever did resolve this. If you don't have emissions, I would not bother messing with it.
