Default Will a Magnaflow 14832 fit an SC400?

Does it HAVE to be a 14829? I know the 14832 is a shorter tip, but can't more pipe be added at the inlet to make up the difference?

ANY muffler can be made to fit if you put the effort in.

Is it going to be a problem, or will it fit just fine? I don't want to put my exhaust guy through the ringer if this is going to be significantly difficult. I just had a mishap backing up into a piece of concrete and wanted to replace my broken mufflers and the 14832's were like $40 less a piece and the only real difference seemed to be the tip. I just wasn't sure if it would be worth it to spring for the extra tip if a bit of extra pipe in the inlet would be fine.

If you are certain that they are just shorter than YES it will fit no problem. The length of the muffler is an issue if they are too long. There is not a whole lot of room and even the factory mufflers take a nasty nearly 90 egree turn to clear the space.
