Just received my parts for a 92sc400 from rock auto. Im looking at the pump and there doesn't seem to be a place for the acv to screw in. I see a red plastic bolt with a brown paper gasket type thing. I unscrewed that and tried to screw in acv and the acv is to small. I'm having my mech work on it this weekend I just want to make sure I have the right parts. Is the acv not attached to the power steering pump?

Acv
Hi
You have probably found out by now that the power steering pump for the SC400 does not have a ACV - only the LS400 pump was fitted with this device.
If you still have the valve and would like to sell it I would be interested in buying it as the ACV on my LS400 pump has started to sweat and will only get worse in time.
As I said if you still have the valve and want to sell it let me know. I'm in Canberra, Australia.
Cheers
Ric
