With the car running it will not go into gear. We have bled the system completely to were fluid only comes out. We have the clutch pedal adjusted all the way out. When I push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor the slave only moves half way then stops. it will not disengage the clutch. So im ordering the twinsturbo.com tilton master cylinder kit and installing that to see if it fixes my issue as Collins has said it sounds like I have an hydraulic issue. Which I don't understand how that's possible when my master is less than a year old and the slave is new.
have you tried pressure bleeding the master/slave cylinder? how did you bleed the hydrualic system? the nissan slave rod should move a good inch in and out, how much is yours moving?

We have bled the system every way possible. We get straight fluid out of the bleeder when it's opened. It moves about 1/4-1/2"

I did a standard old crack the valve open kind of bleed on my system and no issues. But again I'm on a different clutch. Seems kind of like your system just doesn't have enough oomph to release the clutch. Why, who knows. Is it your system is too weak for that clutch, could it be a problem with the clutch, no idea.

I had to replace my master cylinder for a while it just barely did the job then it stopped. that sounds like it might do it if the slave cylinder is new its probably that.

Like I said I'm waiting on twinsturbo.com to call me back. Eric over there is great. They are out of stock on the master cylinder kits at the moment. He is suppose to get a shipment in today. So I should be hearing from him on Monday hopefully. And hopefully this fixes my problems.

I am having the same issue as 93SC3T. but my pedal still feels spongey and doesnt feel like it completes a push before it hits the floor, I am wondering if I either need to adjust my pedal mounting or bleed the system better. I have the collins pressure plate and clutch which are an Aisin Pressure plate and an Ebay clutch. any ideas?

Just so everyone knows seems that the twinzturbo.com tilton master cylinder setup has fixed my issue of the clutch not disengaging. So I will keep everyone updated.

Good to know. Maybe with the twin disc setup that's a must?

I'm on a single disc setup. I guess the stock sc clutch slave didn't have enough *** behind it to move the slave or it just wasn't moving enough fluid.

you were using the stock sc300 slave on a 350z trans? I am surprised it bolted up even. i am using a 350z slave cyl with the sc300 master.

got the car running ok now? i am wondering if you guys have a rattle at idle also until you press in the clutch? mine has had it ever since i built it and it hasnt gotten better or worse over 5k miles.

Did you ever try to reverse bleed it? When you open the slave cylinder bleed port, and pump fluid through it?

wait wouldn't it be much easier to use a 350z slave vs a sc slave and upgraded master... I'm with estomax on this one I'm really surprised you got the sc slave cylinder on there even. it bolted up?
