Default 2jz na-t build help!

I have a 2jz ge na t build in prgress motors in started before with an aem virsion2 but for some reason the car keeps jumping timing ive been told its the computer not sure need second opinion we set the timming on the car manually to 10 then lock it in on the aem to 10 but then when started the car moves timing what could be doing this if it is not the comp or is it the comp thanks for your time and help ...

u put on a new timing belt and tensioner and guides?

So with the car idling, and the timing locked at 10 through aem, what value are you seeing at the crank with the timing light? Adjust accordingly up or down to make the value at the crank what aem is locked to ie "10". This might be to obvious of an answer but I'm not sure what you mean it keeps "jumping" timing?

na-t's do this with aem .. it will og timing errors from time to time .. it drove alpha crazy at first trying to synce the timing .. lock timing , sync and while tuning pay extra attention to dyno graph to see if timin is truly jumping as mine didnt while in boost ..

it has something to do with the optical pickup at the base of the dist ...
