Unichip GS400
Has anyone had experience with Gs400 unichip on 98+ sc400? Will the Gs400 work? They do not appear to sell sc400 model specific anymore

Bumping an old thread..
Anyone know anything about these Unichips? They got good reviews on PlanetSoarer, but in my research someone mentioned they're out of business? Their websites are still up and running though..
There's one for sale in the classifieds and I'm looking for some information before I pick it up.
My car currently has PPE headers, Y pipe, Tanabe exhaust, BFI, TT LSD. I definitely need a tune now, just dont know much about tuning the AFR in cars as it is new to me.

..I've learned a bit more about tuning since this thread. From what I understand piggybacks dont really work on OBD2 cars because the cars computer will keep overriding any changes made by the piggyback over time.
From the sounds of it anything OBD2 will have to go standalone. Am I correct on this?

For instance the AEM FIC is specifically designed for OBDII.
There are plenty of people who have shown gains from using the SAFC on the GS/SC400/430/300

I was close to buying a SAFC but was told about the [re-]learning ECU problem. After doing more reading, I determined it's 50/50 whether it has worked for other people. Those aren't great odds!
