Is there a specific reason for redoing your hard lines?
Custom hard lines isn't exactly a walk in the park.

I was wondering if they can all be switched out for braided or equivalent hoses I guess that should have been the first question. I gutted the car for paint and am replacing everything so figured why leave anything out.

Hard lines are better off replaced with hardlines in most cases. Only time you should use a braided line is when replacing a rubber line that needs to flex, such as a brake line at each corner.
