Default No clue - Help with diagnosis?

OK after installing S&S Headers, upgrading my exhaust (a straight pipe after the cats to magnaflow mufflers) and a BFI I am experiencing a kinda bogging when I accelerate. Now take into account I have deleted my EGR and have a SAFC II as well. The SAFC has not been re-tuned with the added mods. For the first week after the header install I was in heaven. Really felt the extra horses and did not mind the check engine light since there was no hole to connect to on the headers. One morning i drove the car and much to my surprise no check engine light then the car started to bog when pressed on the gas. There also is a burning rubber smell associated when it bogs. So needless to say I am at a loss. My first thought would be to have it re-tuned but then I didn't want to spend the money and not resolve the initial problem. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
SBM007

lack of o2 sensors could be causing your issues. the computer needs them to tell if the car is running properly without them it will see an extreme and try to correct without seeing the results it expects

Does it suddenly run well when you floor it completely?

It could be an O2 sensor problem but they are ignored if you go WOT anyway or if they are unplugged (like in your case)

The car does not necessarily NEED O2 sensors to run. I would look for another cause.
