Default GS400 manifolds

These can be had at junk yards cheaply. Will they fit on to vvti sc400s for a cheap hp increase?
Also, do intake manifolds on GS flow better? Or are they identical?

You want to go through the trouble of swapping one set of stock manifolds for another onto an otherwise stock exhaust?

are you talking about the exhaust manifolds? if you are, the gs one won't fit on the sc, hence the worse design on the sc. i mean it will bolt up to the engine just fine, but it won't clear other parts. if you want something better, than you have to go aftermarket, such as ppe or imf headers, but neither are cheap. the intake manifolds as far as i know are identical. one of the members on here did his own porting on the intake manifolds i believe and he seemed pleased with the results.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I am talking about exhaust manifolds and I know they are restrictive...just not as bad as GS400 exhaust manis. I also knows its a lot of work but seeing as headers are $550 + from what I could see, I thought I might get an extra 10 hp by slapping on some GS400 ones. If it has been verified that they will not fit due to config, then my question has been answered. Thx

even if they did fit, the install is such a b that honestly it wouldn't be worth it for the extra ten. i myself have no idea where that extra 10 hp is added in the power band. so it could even be negligible for daily driving after all that work.
