A/C Issues - Expansion Valve Replacement
I've got a '93 SC400 that I'm pretty sure has got a bad expansion valve. I'm planning on replacing it this weekend.
Has anyone done this job before? Any tips or write ups?
Do I need to get behind the dash, or can I get to it by removing the ABS unit? Anything I need to know before removing the ABS unit if that is the way to go?
Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

I jus did mine this past week in my 94 SC300..
Its actually fairly easy,
-Unbolt the AC lines that are bolted to the firewall
-Remove the Glove box & Lower kick panel
-Un screw all the phillip head screws on the white box & under it
-Behind the white cover, is the evap, pull the Evap out the car
-Then replace expansion valve..
Reverse steps to put it back to normal..then u will be fine..ohhhh disconnect the Battery too
Goodluck!!!!
