its actually mounted directly to the block now like this but

the oil filter adaper is by derale part number 15703

I show jegs because they are down the street from me and that's where i got it. I am not using a thermostat of the oil also becuase my car is pretty much track only and I get enough time to let the oil warm up however derale makes one for $40 some bucks that should work

I'll tell you one thing. The diesel guys talking about -10 AN lines possibly being too small for an oil drain isn't far fetched.
Check out youtube and search for turbo oil drain videos. There's a couple videos where the people actually let the oil flow into a bucket or bottle, while the car is running and it's amazing how much oil actually flows out of the drain. It's not a small trickle, it's ALOT and when you rev the motor, it's even more!
This is actually a really cool looking oil drain.

Problem with adding that discrete a sub forum is that it gets a LOT less views (fewer answers, less education for other members that want to learn, etc). What we can do is create a more discrete section of the FAQ / DIY sticky for the best threads you want to nominate to go in there. Maybe even do a second mirrored one specific for FI in the performance section
