I don't know where I should post this as I am new here and I am ready to be flamed if anyone thinks I am asking a stupid series of questions. So now that that is out of the way.

I recently spotted a ad for a cheap 1992 SC400 and the price is right for me even if i have to fix it up a little. Two problems are listed in the add and I want to run them by you more experienced members on this site as I have no idea where to find the parts or what to get to repair this vehicle.

Problem one: left rear tie rod/ full rear tie rod set - Figured I might aswell replace both sides right? I haven't seen any in the relatively quick google search I did any help for suppliers etc or uprated performance versions would be helpful

Problem two: Power steering is not functioning - As above I figured if its not functioning I might aswell replace the entire system just to make sure part numbers would be nice .

Also if you guys wouldn't mind info about any preventative maintenance I could do aside from the problems listed above?

the power steering is a common problems of the sc from what ive seen and heard and can sometimes be fixed or repaired as opposed to replacing everything.

The tie rods in my opinion dont seem to be very serious, whats the mileage and overall condition? What are they asking?

220000 km and its 1300 here in Canada. Says it is in great condition and I don't know if I can post links so i will try anyway.
