Default Need help, fuel pump has no power.

The car is a 92 sc300 5spd. I installed a walbro 255lph and now i cant seem to get it to turn on. I have the panel off to the fuel pump ecu too. What can i check to make sure its getting power? Are there any requirements for the fuel pump to turn on other than voltage?

Your fuel pump ECU is probably bad. Do the 12V mod. Search Sc300 12V mod and you should be able to find it.

Ok, i did the 12v mod and the fuel pump turned on. Does this mean that the fuel pump ecu is bad? Also, in the thread about the 12v mod, is it ok to wire up the fuel pump ecu by soldering those 2 wires together?

Yes, and yes. Soldering these wires is exactly what the mod entails.

My car has these symptoms too so I might as well do it myself. it runs but it's much happier after 4k rpm.
