i did all the ports on the manifold but i haven't get my heads ported or polished yet that's next but the car does feel really good.

just ported one of my heads from my sc400 today. the exhaust side you can really open up more and the intake i just trimmed the edges.. i will try and post pics tomrw.. but fyi i dont know much about porting and this is my first time! it should be fine though..

Thanks! for my first porting job i impressed myself haha. The exhaust is bigger than the oem head ports.. and i used this bit with a cutting ball at the end idk whats it called but it works well to port to size then i used a sand paper that i found to smooth it out lol but im not smoothing out the intake side..

O ok I am gonna have to try that but I wanna get harder valve springs when I take my heads off.

ic but FYI its a pain in the *** to take these heads off! at least for me.. only reason i did because a exhaust valve got stuck open somehow.. harder valve springs? looking on to rev higher!?

yea revving faster is definitely one of my goals. its kinda weird after i did my intake manifold when you flooring it and your in power mode not even overdrive. the car will bounce of rev limit in first before the transmission can shift so i am assuming that i need to get rid of that before i can do anything else. has anyone ever removed that?

^good thing im converting to a 5-speed! but waiting to get shipped in.. i hope to have my car running this weekend thn next week the 5speed kit should be in..

yea thats where he real hp gain is.... i did mine the hard way. i went to san diego to pick up my transmission then found my clutch pedal in the junkyard. all i need now is a clutch flywheel slave cylinder cluth line ad driveshaft but i have a 400 and a 300 so i need stuff for both.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. But has there been any updates on this? Dyno's? Seems like a cheap way to get more flow in the stock heads.
