Default Gte tps help!

hey i just retrofitted a jdm gte upper mani to my ge motor and im having trouble with the gte TPS. the old tps from the stock GE wont work ( it spins the other way) when the GE tps is plugged in it shows 0 volts and will go upto 4v or so when you turn it by hand as it should ( viewed via AEM EMS)

when i plug in the GTE TPS it just sits there at a full 5v.... do i need to switch some wires around or something? i looked over the wiring pinouts for gte ecu and it looks the same as the GE but i cant figure this out

what im suspecting is that ... maybe the wires need to be reversed..... since it spins in the opposite direction? haha
